Increase in sales of products by large and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan
In the second quarter of 2018, the volume of sales and services provided by large and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan amounted to 7.9 trillion tenge ($21.39 billion), which is 24.7% more than during the same period of 2017. It was reported by FinProm analytical portal with the reference to the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic on October 5.
Large and medium-sized enterprises of Atyrau region in Kazakhstan produced and provided services amounted to 1.8 trillion tenge ($4.87 billion), Astana - to 1.8 trillion tenge ($4.87 billion), Almaty - 1.2 billion tenge ($3.25 billion).
Production in the mining industry amounted to 2.5 trillion tenge ($6.77 billion), 1.6 trillion tenge ($4.33 billion) in the manufacturing industry, and 1.1 trillion tenge ($2.98 billion) in transport and warehouse industry.
In 2017, large and medium-sized businesses in Kazakhstan generated the profit of 9 trillion tenge ($24.36 billion), which is 40.8% more than in 2016.
