    Vladimir Putin signed the Decree "On awarding the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi with the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called”.

    Narendra Modi was awarded for outstanding achievements in the development of a particularly privileged strategic partnership between Russia and India and establishing friendly ties between Russian and Indian people.

    The President of Russia emphasized that Russian-Indian cooperation has been developing quite successfully. Both parties expressed their intention to further promote interaction in all areas, including military-technical ties.

    Moreover, Vladimir Putin invited Narendra Modi to become an honorable guest on the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September 2019.
