Business Forum "Promotion of Groundbreaking Russian Engineering and Solutions" / Singapore 2017
Rostec Corporation and the Moscow City Government are the strategic partners for the Promotion of Advanced Russian Technology Business Forum, which takes place on 11 December 2017 at the Carlton Hotel in Singapore. The forum is being held as part of a business mission to Singapore by a joint delegation from Rostec, the Moscow City Government and a range of Russian companies, a mission which will highlight key Russian advances in the field of technology and innovation across a wide range of industry sectors.
A range of high-priority projects such fields as urban infrastructure, Smart Cities, security, healthcare and education will be showcased at the forum by the Russian delegation.
Among the speakers invited to take part in the forum’s plenary session are Sergey Chermezov, General Director of Rostec and chairman of the Russian Engineering Union, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, Andrey Tatarinov, Russian Ambassador to Singapore, Sergey Cheremin, Minister and Director of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of the Moscow City Government, Jacqueline Poh, Chief Executive of GovTech, Nikolay Volobuev, Russian Minister of State, Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade, Deputy CEO of Rostec and Chairman of the Russia Singapore Business Council.
The plenary session will be moderated by Eg Kah Yee, Founder and Chairman of Key ASIC and United Crest Healthcare, and Regional Director of the Russia Singapore Business Council.
The forum will also host a roundtable session dedicated to debate on key priority areas for cooperation between Moscow and Singapore, entitled Modern infrastructure as a driver for urban economies and moderated by Sergey Cheremin. Participants will include representatives of Rostec, the Moscow City Government, specialist Singapore agencies and companies on the business mission.
